Organics Project Part One

The start of this organics project was very strong I was creating a lot of samples with different materials and techniques which contributed to generating my ideas for a final piece and hand crafting a sample book of all my tests and experiments. I have also displayed some of my sketchbook work which shows mono printing, gel printing and drawings with bleach. For this project the focus was body adornment, I looked at different designers like Iris Van Herpen, Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen who inspired me the most for my final piece.

Text Art Revolution Part Two

After my Tom Phillips research, started to create my final design for my screen print. I sketched out my ideas to design my print, then refined my first sketch which worked really well and created my final sketch ready for my screen print. I then had to redraw my design onto a transparent film with India ink so that the screen could be made. I think these prints came out very well, especially with the surfaces i had prepared.
